Unfortunately, neither of the sprites for this Pokémon were recovered, so we'll never know what this was. It should also be noted that, unlike betas for later games, no gameplay footage or stills of the Gen I beta have ever surfaced. Of all the unused sprites recovered, only 6 were unrecovered entirely (with 2 of them having placeholder back sprites).
